Whereas: Through their long and sustained commitment to the youth of the City of New York, Apryl Rivera, and the Rivera family have so unselfishly advanced that the spirit of united purpose and shared concern which is the unalterable manifestation of our American experience; now therefore , be it RESOLVED, that this legislative Body pause in its deliberations and most joyously commend Apryl Rivera, henceforth known as New York State’s Favorite Clown/Ms. Santa Claus.
